Hi! I’m Siddhi Jaiswal

I understandminds to buildbrands.

A third-year psychology student who fell for marketing — and the girl who’s in marketing without an MBA. I figure out why people think, feel and buy the way they do, then build brands around it.

“She is sharp, curious, and asks the questions most people skip.”

about.

I’m Siddhi — I decode the human psyche and turn it into brands people connect with. I blend psychology and marketing: generating millions of views on Instagram, building business models, and leading branding and event marketing projects. I’ve landed 4 internships and headed 3 college clubs to record-breaking results.

But what sets me apart isn’t just these results — it’s that I put my heart into every bit of this work. What drives it all is genuine curiosity about why people think, feel, and buy the way they do. That passion is the lens I bring to every project.

How I learned all this

Self-taught, by doing. Which means I learned by getting it wrong first — so you won’t have to.

Six real briefs. For each one: the problem, what I did, what it moved — and the psychology that explains why it worked.

    • Too little founder content
    • No warm audience for the EdTech launch

    Content Strategist

    100%

    organic growth

    The psychology behind it

    The foot-in-the-door effect

A save is a small yes. Small yeses lead to bigger ones — an enquiry, then a booking.

    Problem
    • Unorganised content
    • Serving everyone instead of a niche
    • Views not converting into enquiries or sales
    Approach
    • Stepped up as Content Strategist to own the bigger picture
    • Shifted focus from views to deeper metrics like saves and watch time
    • Built organic conversion funnels with limited ad spend

    • Significant growth in conversions
    • Consistent rise in views
    • Strong net follower growth
    • All achieved organically

Social Media & Events Intern · Mumbai

    +12%

    average bill size

    The psychology behind it

    Mental accounting

A student budgets a café visit; a family budgets an occasion. Same menu, a very different bill.

    Problem
    • Newly opened café
    • Low footfall
    • In Malad, an area with lower Gen-Z café footfall
    Approach
    • Repositioned the café as family-oriented (higher average bill than students)
    • Split channels: WhatsApp and Instagram for adults, on-ground events for a younger crowd
    • Partnered with college clubs to drive event turnout
    Result
    • Average bill size up 12%
    • ₹22,000 in sales on event day
    • Overall social media growth

    Scarcity & social proof

When it feels like everyone is going and spots are running out, people act now — not later.

    Problem
    • Needed sponsor funding
    • Needed mass student turnout, fast
    Approach
    • Designed the sponsorship pitch
    • Ran the registration drive
    Result
    • ₹20,000 sponsorship closed

Learning by doing

mistakes i’ve already made.(so you don’t have to)

I’m self-taught. I learned by doing — which means I learned by getting it wrong first. Every mistake below is one your brand won’t have to pay for.

  1. Mistake 01Nuvah Heels

The founder rejected 10+ of my ideas in a single day

Know who you’re really talking to

Scripts, copy, campaign ideas — all of it, turned down in one day. I couldn’t see why until I sat down with the founder: I was writing for a Gen-Z girl, because that’s who I am. But Nuvah’s customer wasn’t me. It was millennial women from upper-middle and affluent families.

    Mistake 01 · the lesson

    What it cost
A full day’s work in the bin, weeks of misdirected effort, and a real dip in motivation.
    The lesson
Positioning starts with knowing exactly who you’re serving. It sounds obvious on paper; it’s hard in practice. Get it right, and everything else clicks.
    What I do now
On every new project, I set “Siddhi” aside and step into the customer’s shoes. Every piece of content has to pass one test: would she actually be moved by this?
  2. Mistake 02@withsiddhi_21

    I lost 2,000 followers in 2 days

Own one word in people’s minds

Two of my reels went viral in the same week — 2M and 1.8M views. Huge for someone just starting out. So I celebrated by posting… everything. Travel one day, study tips the next, something funny after that. The people who followed me for that one reel had no idea what I was about anymore.

    Mistake 02 · the lesson

    What it cost
Around 2,000 unfollows in a couple of days. Followers that took real effort to earn, gone almost instantly.
    The lesson
You need a niche — not a cage. Experiment all you want, but give people a reason to stay. Every brand has to own one word (or one line) in its audience’s mind.
    What I do now
I know my line: the girl who’s in marketing without an MBA. Every post earns its place under that idea — and a content-bucket system keeps variety from turning into confusion. That system took the account to 35L+ views in 2 months.
  3. Mistake 03Everywhere I’ve worked

Unless you can prove it, you didn’t do it

The hardest pill to swallow in marketing

I believed effort spoke for itself — the research, the late nights, the beautiful process. In most professions, process counts. In marketing, it doesn’t, not on its own.

    Mistake 03 · the lesson

    What it cost
Ideas I was proud of — cinematic, emotional, even “breakthrough” — that counted for nothing because they didn’t get the views or move people to act.
    The lesson
A mind-blowing campaign that doesn’t convert is just a nice idea. You prove your worth with numbers, at every step, no matter how far you’ve come. It’s hard to accept — but it’s fair. That’s how marketing works, and I’ve made peace with it.
    What I do now
I decide what success looks like before I start — the number that proves it worked — and track it from day one. At Nurture Counseling, that meant looking past views to saves and watch time, the metrics that actually turned into enquiries.

  • “That kind of thinking is rare, and rarer still in an intern.”

    Read the full recommendation

Siddhi joined The Design Trip as a content and marketing intern and quickly became someone I leaned on for our own brand and strategy work.

She comes from a psychology background, and it shows in everything she makes. She actually understands why people behave the way they do, and she builds that into the strategy instead of treating it as an afterthought. On our personal branding and TDT’s own positioning, she was not just executing tasks, she was thinking about the person on the other end and shaping the work around them. That kind of thinking is rare, and rarer still in an intern.

She is sharp, curious, and asks the questions most people skip. She is going to do well wherever she lands, and I would happily work with her again.

(from my heart)

“I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”

Robert Frost’s words hit differently now. Coming from a non-commerce background into marketing, without an MBA, has been my own road less traveled.

It hasn’t been easy, and there are people out there more qualified than me on paper. But what I bring is real passion for understanding people, and the dedication to keep showing up and learning by doing.

If you’re reading this, you probably love marketing too — and maybe you were once a fresher who just wanted one chance.

I hope you’ll give me that chance to prove myself.
